Note about these facial services: Gua Sha and facial rolling are particularly effective at treating sagging skin or puffiness under the eyes or in the face. It works with the lymph system to help drain excess fluid that collects under the skin, and releases tight neck muscles which are a contributor to sagging as they pull down the skin of the face. Facial micro-needling is particularly good at reducing acne scars or other scars, and facial redness due to eczema or psoriasis.

This 75-minute treatment includes an abdominal acupuncture treatment designed to "rev the metabolism" followed by a 30-minute programmed Celluma Red Light Therapy while lying on a heated massage table. Body Reshaping occurs in extended heat (over 100 degrees) which encourages the fat cells to alter their structure, essentially liquifying them. Red Light pushes out the liquid fat while the body's lymphatic system removes this waste from the body. Brown fat is the "good" fat, while white fat is the "bad" fat. Heating the cells above 100 degrees has been shown to turn "white fat" into "brown fat". White fat stores energy as large fat droplets, while brown fat has much smaller droplets and is specialized to burn them, yielding heat. Brown fat cells are packed with energy generating powerhouses called mitochondria that contain iron—which gives them their brown color.

We finish this treatment with cupping over the desired treatment areas of the body.  Blood vessels in the area being cupped expand. With the expansion of blood vessels, the procedure supplies extra nutrients to the tissue, and increases hydration, and also offers a similar effect to a deep tissue massage. The top layer and several sublayers of the skin are stimulated, bringing new life to the area, and additionally kickstarting the metabolism.  Acupuncture needles are applied in key points in the body to increase metabolism and infuse energy and immune support.
