This can be done via a virtual platform for the initial visit. However, prior to prescribing medications, an in-person visit is required for vital signs.
Consultation is for the insertion of the product and 6 week follow up. This cost does not include the device (Mirena, Kyleena, Skyla or Paragard. Devices can be ordered by my office and patients may use their insurance to purchase the device through our approved distributor.
A pregnancy test will be done prior to IUD placement if you are not on your menstrual cycle. There is an additional cost for the pregnancy test.
