New Patient Appointment (Health Insurance)
Welcome to FemmeCare Health & Wellness! We’re excited to partner with you in your care. This visit is designed for new patients who plan to use health insurance or Medicaid for their services.
Your initial appointment is a comprehensive, patient-centered evaluation where we take time to truly listen. We’ll review your medical history, current concerns, medications, and health goals, and work together to create a personalized care plan that fits your life.
How your visit will work: At the time of your scheduled appointment, Joe, RN will call you by phone to complete your nursing intake. This includes reviewing your medical history, medications, pharmacy, allergies, and verifying your insurance and demographics.
After the nursing intake, you will receive a secure link by text message and email to join your virtual visit with Eric, APRN, for your full provider evaluation and care plan.
What to expect:
- Nursing intake by phone with Joe, RN
- Comprehensive new patient evaluation with Eric, APRN via video visit
- Review of medical, gynecologic, mental health, and preventive care needs
- Discussion of treatment options, labs, medications, and next steps
- Plenty of time for your questions
At FemmeCare, we prioritize convenience and access. All initial new patient visits are conducted virtually unless otherwise indicated, allowing you to receive high-quality care from the comfort of your home. After your first visit, many services can be provided either virtually or through our unique in-home care model, based on your needs and eligibility.
