Pre-operative Exam

Welcome to LaborScript Health Pre-Op Clinic!

Before your surgery, you'll need a pre-operative exam to make sure you're healthy and ready for your upcoming procedure. This visit will help us identify any medical issues that could affect your surgery or recovery.

Here's what you can expect during your pre-op exam:

Vital signs check: We'll take your blood pressure, measure your heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels.

Height and weight: We'll measure your current height and weight.

EKG (electrocardiogram) and blood work: These tests will help us check your heart health and get important information about your overall health. For your convenience, we'll draw your labs during your appointment with us.

Medication review: We'll go over all your current medications and supplements you are currently taking. Please remember to bring an updated list of medications and supplements to your appointment, this helps us give you the safest and most accurate care.

Medical history: We'll review your past and current health conditions, previous surgeries, and your family's medical history.

Physical Exam: The provider will do a basic physical exam to make sure there are no signs of illness or anything that needs to be addressed before your surgery.
