New Patient Consultation with Marlissa Boyles, NP

A Dermatology-Focused Concern Appointment includes a targeted evaluation of one specific skin issue—such as a new spot, rash, breakout, irritation, or other localized change. Your provider will assess the area, discuss possible causes, and recommend appropriate treatment or next steps. This quick, noninvasive visit is ideal for clients who want a professional assessment without needing a full skin exam.

Skin Cancer Screening -New Patient— Booking Information
A Skin Cancer Screening is a quick, preventive appointment designed to check your skin for any suspicious moles, spots, or changes that could indicate early signs of skin cancer. Early detection is key, and screenings are recommended annually or any time you notice new or changing lesions.
What a Skin Cancer Screening Involves
  • A licensed provider performs a full visual exam of the skin from head to toe (you may keep undergarments on).
  • They check moles, freckles, and any new or unusual spots for asymmetry, border changes, color variations, size, or texture changes.
  • A dermatoscope (a small magnifying device) may be used for closer evaluation.
  • Any concerning areas will be documented, photographed, or referred for biopsy or dermatology follow-up if needed.
  • The appointment typically lasts 20–30 minutes and is noninvasive and painless.
Who Should Book
  • Anyone with new or changing moles, spots that itch or bleed, a history of sunburns, tanning bed use, or family history of skin cancer—or anyone who simply wants a routine check.
How to Book
Select Skin Cancer Screening from our online booking menu. Please come with clean skin (no makeup on areas to be examined) and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
A Follow-Up Skin Concern Appointment is for clients with an already established condition who need ongoing evaluation or treatment adjustments. Your provider will review progress, assess any changes, and update your care plan to ensure your skin continues improving. This brief visit keeps your treatment on track and addresses any new questions or concerns.
