The AquafirmeXS is an elevated version of a Hydra Facial. It is an enjoyable, relaxing treatment that combines a facial with "modern microdermabrasion" using gentle, vacuum-like technology. IPL stands for Intense Pulse Light which is a non-invasive treatment that uses intense pulses of light to target various skin concerns, such as sun damage, age spots, redness, spider veins, and fine lines.  The light energy targets both vessels and pigmentation to improve shin tone and texture.  This treatment is suitable for the face, hands, chest, back, arms and legs.  

Is IPL painful?
Most patients describe the sensation during the treatment as similar to a rubber bacnd snapping against the skin.  However, Alpha Pro's advanced cooling matins a consistent temperature in the treatment area to minimize any discomfort. 

Is there any downtime after treatment?
Most patients experience mild redness and a sunburn-like sensation immediately after treatment which usually subsides within a few hours to a day.  Makeup can be applied to cover any redness.  its important to avoid direct sun exposure and use mineral sunscreen after the procedure. 

How long is a typical session?
