For your first visit, choose either in person or virtual Initial consultation. If labs are performed at the first visit, a more brief follow up visit is included in the price to review labs. This visit is titled "Lab follow up for initial consultation". Please only book this visit for your follow up if discussed with McKenzee.
If labs were not drawn at your initial consult, then you would book a follow up visit, in person or virtual/telehealth. Often, not always, we will draw labs at this follow up visit. Lab costs are individualized but will be discussed before we proceed with anything. Next Chapter does not cover the cost of your labs unless you were part of the initial promotional pricing (Initial consultations booked by 3/23/2026). We do occasionally run promotions for cost savings and we are able to draw labs at your visit.
Next Chapter Hormone is a direct access clinical practice. We do not process health insurance, we are happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. This is a specialized health care related bill with diagnostic codes that insurance companies require when they are considering covering the cost of a service. We also accept HSA and FSA cards for payment in addition to debit and credit cards. At present time, we are unable to see anyone who is covered under Medicare at all (even when they intend to pay out of pocket). We are hoping this will not be the case very soon, we will update when able.
