We do not provide the following services: Evaluations for firearms, Long term disability, Clearances to drive a truck, Active suicidal thoughts, Active Eating Disorder (Anorexia Nervosa), Postpartum Psychosis, Evaluation for Autism spectrum, and do not treat patients with Traumatic brain injury, Schizophrenia, Non-verbal learning disorders, and a history of complex polypharmacy medications. The following medications may be prescribed on rare circumstances on a case by case basis: Alprazolam (Xanax), Clonazepam (Klonopin), Diazepam (Klonopin) Diazepam (Valium) Lorazepam (Ativan).
We are now accepting Horizon NJ Health & Wellpoint patients for therapy. We are only seeing Aetna Better Health patients for psychiatric evaluation and medication management only.
We are currently accepting new patients for therapy who reside in the state New Jersey with the following insurances: Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United Health care, Horizon NJ Health and Horizon BC/BS of NJ.
Our new therapist Olga Secgin-Valentine is licensed in New Jersey, Arizona, and Florida. She is currently accepting new patients in these states with the following insurance plans: Aetna, Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Healthcare, Anthem EAP, BlueCrossBlueShield of Arizona, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, United Healthcare, Horizon NJ Health, and Wellpoint.
We are currently not accepting new patients with Emblem Health insurance. For self pay, our psychiatric evaluation is $300 and our medication management appointments are $150.
Our practice does not prescribe controlled substances in the state of New York.
I agree to enter a valid debit/credit card information to book an appointment with Pathway to Mentality. If my card information is incorrectly invalid, my appointment will be automatically canceled. If I no show or do not cancel my appointment 24 hours prior to my scheduled appointment, I agree that my card will be charged $50 for a new patient psychiatric evaluation appointment and $35 for a medication follow-up appointment in addition to a $2 credit card transaction fee. If I schedule a new patient psychiatric evaluation or a therapy assessment and my patient intake forms are not submitted within 24 hours of my scheduled appointment, your appointment will be canceled and charged a $50 late cancellation fee plus a $2 credit card transaction fee. You must be in the state you reside in at the time of your telehealthpsychiatry appointment. If you are out of state at the time of your appointment, your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged the late cancellation fee. This does not apply to NJ Medicaid patients, however if you no show to your first appointment, you will not be eligible in rescheduling your appointment.
