For all NEW patients: This 20-30 minute consultation will give you a chance to explain your health concerns and get your questions answered. Your clinician will have the opportunity to gather information in order to explain the best way Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine can help you meet your goals. If we determine that we are a good fit, we will devise a comprehensive treatment plan suited to help you.
Should you choose to become a patient: We will take a deeper dive into your case and, if time allows, you will receive your first acupuncture treatment on the same day. Please note, if you are booking the last appointment time of the day (either 1:20pm or 7:20pm), the visit will not include acupuncture which will be scheduled a subsequent day.
By scheduling through online booking: You consent to the clinic contacting you via email and text unless you opt out. Thank you for your understanding.
Arrive on time or early: Please arrive on time or early for your appointment so that we have the full time for you, and please ensure your forms ahead of time so your practitioner can review these before seeing you (see "Welcome Email" upon booking).
Notes on $40 refundable deposit: The $40 deposit holds the appointment time for you and is put toward any single treatment or treatment plan you choose. If you determine our services are not what you need at this time, the $40 will be refunded to you after your consultation. If you do not show up for the consultation or cancel within 24 hours, we keep the $40 deposit.
Important notice: Our offices are located down a flight of stairs and there is no elevator or other means of descending available. We apologize if that keeps you from being able to visit! Please do not book if you are unable to walk down the stairs.
This session is for Pay-As-You-Go patients who have completed an Initial Consultation: Do not book this type of appointment if you are enrolled in an active membership or you've pre-paid for your treatment plan.
This 45-60 minute appointment will almost certainly include acupuncture: It may include other modalities such as cupping, gua sha, medical qigong, reiki, electroacupuncture, motor point acupuncture, acupressure, auricular therapy and / or herbal advice. If you desire a particular of these modalities, you can mention it and they will consider it. Otherwise, the practitioner uses the treatment methods he determines will be most effective for your case and desired goals.
If applicable, in this session the practitioner may modify or refill your Chinese herbal medicine prescription.
PLEASE NOTE: All sessions must be paid for at the time of booking. Late cancellations, within 24 hours, if we are unable to fill your appointment, will be charged a $40 fee to the card on file. No-show scheduled appointments will not be refunded.
