Hormone Therapy Consultation - New Patient
Welcome to Premier Hormone Health & Wellness! Your initial hormone therapy consultation is designed to assess your individual needs and create a personalized treatment plan. During this appointment, our healthcare provider will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct any necessary lab tests to evaluate your hormone levels. We will also go over the benefits, potential risks, and expected outcomes of hormone therapy to ensure you have all the information needed to make an informed decision about your care. Please bring a list of any medications you are currently taking, as well as any recent lab work, if available. We look forward to partnering with you on your journey to better health!

Hormone Therapy Follow Up
This follow-up appointment is for patients currently undergoing hormone therapy with Tina Higgins, CRNP.

Regular follow-ups (every 3 months) are essential and required to ensure your hormone therapy remains safe and effective. At your appointment, we will review any current symptoms and your overall well-being, discuss any side effects or concerns, perform the required lab work to monitor hormone levels, and make any necessary adjustments to dosage or treatment.

Female Pellet Insertion
This appointment is for patients already on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) pellets who are due for their next insertion.

What to Expect:
  • A brief review of your symptoms and response to previous pellet therapy
  • The area will be cleansed with a sterile solution.
  • A local anesthetic (lidocaine) will be used to numb the insertion site.
  • A small incision will be made, and the pellet will be inserted using a trocar (a hollow needle) to deliver a steady release of hormones over time.
  • The site will be covered with a sterile bandage after the procedure.
Post-Procedure Care:
  • Keep the area clean and dry for 24-48 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, or soaking in water for 3-5 days.
  • Mild bruising, swelling, or tenderness at the insertion site is normal and should subside within a few days.
  • Contact the office if you experience signs of infection, such as excessive redness, swelling, or discharge.
