Women’s Hormone Optimization Lab Appointment This appointment is for patients who have scheduled a Women’s Hormone Optimization consultation and need pre-consultation laboratory testing completed prior to their provider visit. Completing your laboratory testing before your consultation allows your provider to review your results during your appointment and develop a more personalized treatment plan based on your symptoms, hormone status, metabolic health, and overall wellness goals. A TB skin test, also known as the Mantoux test, is a simple and quick procedure used to screen for tuberculosis infection. A small amount of testing fluid (PPD) is injected just under the skin of your forearm. After 48–72 hours, the injection site is checked for any reaction, which helps determine if you have been exposed to TB bacteria.
