At AgeWell Medical, we provide comprehensive Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations for commercial drivers. These exams ensure that you meet the federal medical requirements to operate a commercial vehicle safely, keeping you compliant and on the road. During your DOT physical, our licensed medical examiners will:
Review your medical history and medications
Conduct a thorough physical exam including vision, hearing, blood pressure, and heart health
Perform any required laboratory tests or screenings
Evaluate for conditions that could affect driving safety
Once your exam is complete and you meet the DOT standards, we issue a Medical Examiner’s Certificate, valid for up to 24 months (or shorter if required by medical conditions). Be sure to bring a log of your blood pressures if you have high blood pressure and a log of compliance with CPAP if you have sleep apnea.
