A general psychiatric evaluation is a thorough assessment designed to identify mental health disorders and create a personalized treatment plan. During the evaluation, we conduct a detailed review of your symptoms, medical history, and personal background. This includes discussing your mental health concerns, any past diagnoses or treatments, and any relevant life stressors. We also assess your mood, thought processes, behavior, and overall functioning. This comprehensive approach helps us understand your unique needs and determine the best treatment strategies for you.

QbTest is FDA Cleared for diagnosis and treatment for ADHD for ages 6-60. It is one of the most advanced ADHD tests available on the market. QbTest is a test to evaluate the symptoms of ADHD for children and adults that combines motion-tracking analysis with a uniquely designed continuous performance task.

QB testing is utilized at multiple stages of treatment. Initially, it assists in diagnosis by helping to quantify the severity of symptoms. During medication initiation and dosage adjustments, it is used to ensure the effectiveness of treatment. Periodically, QB testing is also conducted while the patient is off medication to evaluate the ongoing need for treatment and guide future care decisions.

Following the assessment, you will be scheduled for a follow-up appointment to review your results with the clinician. Our comprehensive ADHD evaluation includes
  •  An in-depth clinical interview to explore your history, symptoms, and specific concerns
  •  Standardized rating scales, incorporating input from you and, when appropriate, family members or teachers
  • The QbTest, which provides objective, measurable data on attention, activity, and impulsivity
  •  A personalized consultation to discuss your results and determine the most appropriate next steps in your care
