Sick Visit (Telehealth) – Evaluation of Treatment Side Effects This telehealth visit is intended to assess and manage side effects or adverse reactions related to current prescribed medications or treatments. Common concerns may include:
New or worsening symptoms after starting a medication
Mild allergic reactions (e.g., rash, itching)
Gastrointestinal discomfort
Fatigue, dizziness, or other non-emergency side effects
A licensed provider will review your symptoms, assess the severity of your reaction, and determine appropriate next steps, which may include adjusting your treatment plan, prescribing supportive medications, or recommending further evaluation. Important: This visit is not for medical emergencies or severe reactions such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or chest pain. For those, seek immediate emergency care.
This virtual visit is designed to evaluate and manage minor, non-emergency illnesses from the comfort of your home. Common concerns appropriate for a telehealth sick visit include:
Cold and flu symptoms
Cough, sore throat, or congestion
Ear pain or sinus pressure
Mild fever
Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
Pink eye or mild skin rashes
Urinary symptoms (in non-pregnant patients)
During the visit, a licensed provider will assess symptoms, provide medical advice, and, if appropriate, prescribe medication or recommend further evaluation. Please note: This visit is not intended for urgent or emergency conditions. If symptoms are severe or worsening, in-person care or emergency services may be necessary.
Virtual urgent care is NOT for medical emergencies. For medical emergencies, call 911.
Purpose of Consultation: The consultation is intended to: Answer your questions, Assess your medical history, Establish baseline eligibility for treatment.
Please understand that consultation does not guarantee treatment.
Lab Work Requirement: Relevant lab work will be required prior to starting any treatment plan.
Intake forms: You will receive a reminder to complete intake forms at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
Consultation Fee: The consultation fee is non-refundable, regardless of treatment eligibility or decision to proceed.
