Botox treatments temporarily relax muscles to reduce wrinkles. It is often used on the forehead, around the eyes (crow's feet), and between the eyebrows, but can be used in other areas as well.
Botox works by blocking a chemical called acetylcholine that makes muscles move. This helps smooth out the skin because the muscles relax. The effects of Botox usually last three to six months. After that, muscle movement returns, and you will need more treatments to keep seeing results.
Botox is suitable for adults, both men and women, who want to reduce signs of aging or prevent new wrinkles. It works best for people with wrinkles caused by muscle movement. Younger patients often use Botox to prevent wrinkles from forming.

Physical to participate in UIL/TAPPS sports/activities or for summer camps.
A telehealth call (also called telemedicine or a virtual visit) allows us to connect to you remotely — using video chat, phone, or secure messaging — instead of coming to our office. This remote visit allows us to care from you from the comfort of home, using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Common conditions appropriate for telemedicine visits include:
  • Colds, coughs, flu, fevers, and sinus symptoms — respiratory issues like sore throat, congestion or mild bronchitis.
  • Allergies — seasonal or food-related, managed via consults and medication advice.
  • Ear/nose/throat or urinary tract infections (UTIs) — if symptoms aren’t severe or complex.
  • Digestive issues — such as nausea, mild abdominal pain, heartburn, diarrhea, or indigestion.
  • Skin problems — rashes, acne, eczema, minor burns or cuts, insect bites, sunburn, or other dermatologic complaints.
  • Minor injuries — e.g. sprains, minor strains or strains, some joint pain. Our provider may give guidance to treat at home or refer for imaging if needed.
  • Headaches or migraines — for diagnosis, management plans, and medication adjustments.
  • Chronic diseases management — like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, respiratory conditions (asthma, COPD), or other long-term illnesses. Telehealth lets you track your measures (blood sugar, blood pressure, symptoms), review medications, and adjust treatment plans.
  • Mental health and behavioral health care — therapy, counseling, medication management for depression, anxiety, stress, and other mental health concerns can often be handled remotely.
  • Post-surgery follow-ups or routine check-ins — useful when a full in-person exam is not needed and you only need to discuss recovery, ask questions, or update your provider. Telehealth can also be used for prescription refills, reviewing lab or imaging results, adjusting medications, or monitoring vital signs remotely using home devices (for example, a blood glucose meter or blood pressure cuff).
**Important Limitations — When Telehealth May Not Be Enough
While telehealth offers many advantages, it's not always suitable. Because the provider can’t perform a full physical exam — listen to your heart or lungs, do imaging, draw blood, etc. — some situations require an in-person visit. For example:
  • Serious injuries or symptoms needing physical exam or immediate care (e.g. broken bones, heavy bleeding, chest pain, difficulty breathing).
  • Conditions needing labs, imaging, or physical interventions (e.g. X-rays, stitches, surgery).
  • Situations where in-person diagnostics are safer or required by medical standards.

If you're looking for services beyond what is currently offered, we invite you to schedule a consultation with us. During this personalized meeting, we will take the time to understand your unique concerns and explore tailored strategies that will help you effectively achieve your goals. Your journey is important to us, and we are here to support you every step of the way!
We look forward to meeting you and discussing your wellness goals! A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be credited toward your service upon completion of your visit. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the fee will be applied as a no-show charge. Additionally, please complete the paperwork thoroughly to ensure that your provider has all the necessary information for comprehensive care.
